Job Description

Our established and growing client in Cardiff is recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Manager join them on a permanent basis.

You will lead the successful delivery of complex, multi-site IT and infrastructure projects across enterprise environments. This is a senior-level role requiring strong leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

You will play a key role in overseeing national-scale technology deployments, ensuring robust governance, effective risk management, and consistent delivery standards across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver complex, multi-site IT and infrastructure projects, including structured cabling and technology rollouts
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, risks, dependencies, and reporting
  • Apply recognised project management methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile, ITIL)
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Coordinate field engineers, subcontractors, and project resources
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, governance, and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
  • Mentor junior project managers and contribute to PMO best practice

Skills, Experience & Qualification:

  • Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-site IT or infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of project management frameworks (PRINCE2, Agile)
  • Experience delivering structured cabling and technology deployment projects
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage budgets, risks, and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and project management tools
  • PRINCE2 or PMP certification (essential)
  • Experience working within compliance and risk management frameworks

Salary & Benefits:

Salary will be between 40-55k dependant on experience.
