Job Title: Resource Base Manager
Type: Interim 5 days on-site
Location: Southwest England

The school is committed to supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing a nurturing, trauma-informed approach that enables children to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Role Summary:
Seeking a highly organised, motivated and compassionate teacher to support pupils within a specialist Resource Base provision. This interim role involves working with children across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering high-quality teaching and targeted SEMH support to meet a wide range of individual needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach and support pupils within a specialist SEMH Resource Base
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with EYFS and KS1-KS2 curricula
  • Implement trauma-informed approaches to support emotional regulation and wellbeing.
  • Provide inclusive support for pupils with a range of SEND needs
  • Contribute to planning, reviewing and supporting EHCP outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and external professionals
  • Maintain high expectations to ensure all pupils can succeed


Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified teacher with experience in a primary school setting (EYFS-KS2)
  • Strong understanding of SEMH and SEND support strategies
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed and social-emotional learning approaches
  • Experience or willingness to learn EYFS continuous provision planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reflective practitioner committed to professional development


Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Experience supporting pupils with EHCPs, including annual review processes
  • Previous experience in a Resource Base or specialist provision
  • Strong multi-agency working experience
  • Confident in leading small-group or individualised interventions
