Location: Litherland
Pay Rate: 106 - 120 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Flexible - Day-to-day / Short-term / Long-term supply

About the Role

Spencer Clarke Group is working closely with several supportive secondary schools in Kirby who are seeking Unqualified Secondary Teaching Assistants to join their teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience working with young people whether through education, youth work, coaching, or similar environments who are keen to gain hands-on classroom experience and begin a career in education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students with their learning under the direction of teaching staff.
    Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
    Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils who may need extra help.
    Help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
    Promote positive behaviour and support the school's values and policies.

What We're Looking For

  • A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    Experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential).
    Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for helping students succeed.
    Flexibility and reliability to work across a range of classroom settings.
