Electrical Panel Builder

Electrical Panel Builder - Worcester - 27.00 Per/Hour (LTD or Umbrella) - 7 Weeks

Shorterm Group are looking for a number of experienced control panel builders with experience within the automation industry to act as an extension to an established, in-house engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings

Assemble and wire control panels, enclosures, and junction boxes

Mount and label components such as relays, circuit breakers, PLCs, terminal blocks, and other electrical devices

Perform continuity checks, insulation resistance tests, and functional testing

Maintain a clean and organised work area

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and improve build efficiency

Requirements:

Proven experience in electrical panel building or control panel wiring

Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

Strong understanding of electrical components and wiring practices

Comfortable using hand and power tools

High attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
