Do you want to help young people build independent, successful lives after leaving care?We're looking for a committed Personal Advisor to support care-experienced young people aged 16-25 as they transition into adulthood. You'll work closely with them to access housing, education, health services, and financial support, helping them feel safe, stable, and empowered.
Key Details- Location: Manchester
- Contract: 3-month temporary (with potential to go permanent)
- Pay: £17.60 per hour
- Hours: Monday to Friday, between 08:00 - 20:00
- DBS: Enhanced required
- Driving Licence: Essential - must have access to a vehicle
Responsibilities- Manage a caseload and maintain accurate records
- Support Pathway Plan assessments and reviews
- Help young people access education, training, housing, and financial support
- Promote welfare and ensure their voices are heard
- Coordinate services and monitor progress
- Work flexibly to meet individual needs
- Partner with agencies to deliver holistic support
Requirements- Experience working with care-experienced young people
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of relevant legislation (Children Act, Leaving Care Act, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence and daily access to a vehicle
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
