Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist

LondonSalary: up to £40,000 - £45000 DOE per annum.

Our well established client is looking for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their team on a permanent basis. Our client has multiple clinic locations as well as satellite clinics in several schools. This role is to deliver occupational therapy to children from 0-19 years old with a variety of difficulties.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Identifying the set of activities and motivations that might help patients work towards their goals.
• Helping children with disabilities perform different activities such as dressing, eating and walking.
• Educating the patients' families and friends about the right way to accommodate and care for them.
• Recommending special equipment and, as well as instructing patients on how to use the equipment.
• Documenting and assessing the patient's activities and progress, as well as creating review reports.
• Seeing up to 6 children a day (45mins sessions).

Qualifications and skills:

• HCPC Registered.
• Paediatric Occupational Therapist experience (minimum 4 years preferred)
• Experience in using a Sensory Integration treatment approach
• Excellent communication skills
• passion and dedication for working with children
