Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) - Primary Care

• Hourly Rate: £39 - £50 (depending on pay type and shift)

We are looking for an experienced Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join a dynamic primary care team. This is an excellent opportunity for an autonomous clinician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients presenting with undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions.
• Manage acute and chronic illnesses within primary care settings.
• Prescribe medications safely and appropriately in line with current guidelines.
• Request and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., bloods, imaging).
• Deliver evidence-based care and contribute to clinical decision-making.
• Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
• Support health promotion and preventative care initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent qualification.
• Independent prescribing qualification (V300).
• Current registration with NMC or HCPC.
• Proven experience working as an ACP in a primary care or GP setting.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
