Chartered Valuation Surveyor £50,000 - £55,000 + Car Allowance
The Company We are working with a leading national commercial real estate consultancy with a strong UK and Ireland presence. The business advises investors, developers and occupiers across both the public and private sectors and is widely recognised for its expertise in commercial property valuation, particularly within the lending and loan security space.
With a well-established national valuation service line, the firm provides clients with clear, independent advice on the value of individual assets and large portfolios, supporting informed decision-making across a wide range of property scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking loan security valuations for a range of lenders, including high street banks, private banks, insurers and challenger banks
- Providing independent market and rental valuations for individual assets and property portfolios
- Carrying out valuations for:
- Portfolio and fund valuations
- Financial and company accounts reporting
- Acquisitions and disposals
- Compensation, litigation and taxation purposes
- Supporting diminution in value assessments, including dilapidations and negligence claims
- Producing clear, accurate and well-reasoned valuation reports
- Working closely with colleagues across a national valuation service line
- Maintaining high professional standards in line with RICS guidance and best practice
Skills & Experience - MRICS qualified
- RICS Registered Valuer status
- Proven experience in loan security valuation work
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Confidence in valuation judgement and decision-making
- Ability to manage deadlines and workload effectively
- Professional, personable and client-focused approach
