Payroll Specialist

13-16 per hour

On going temporary role

Are you an aspiring payroll a professional looking to provide additional support to the payroll team whilst they undergo various projects?

Job Overview

You will be a key part of the payroll team assisting with the following.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Accurate and timely payroll delivery for UK payrolls
  • Assist with payroll data input, dealing with pay queries
  • Process accurate leave payments including holiday, sick, maternity, paternity, shared parental leave

Essential Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience working with various payroll providers
  • High level of computer literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • UK Payroll legislation knowledge
  • High level of organisational ability; ability to work to tight deadlines and targets
  • Good communication and customer service skills

Desirable Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience working in a high-volume environment
  • Experience with weekly and monthly payroll
  • A fundamental understanding of UK payroll legislation
