Description
The Accounts Assistant will cover:
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are promptly resolved.
- Support the month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets.
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
- Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation.
- Perform general administrative tasks related to Accounting & Finance.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good organisational and time management abilities.
- Previous experience in a similar Accounting & Finance role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Offer
- An hourly rate of 15.00 to 17.00, depending on experience.
- One day a week in the office in central Reading
