Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and organised Parts Coordinator to handle customer enquiries, prepare quotations, and process orders. The role also involves supporting continuous improvement within the parts and back-office processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer enquiries via phone and email
- Prepare and issue quotations using SAP and internal systems
- Process customer orders and verify purchase orders
- Research equipment and pump records to identify correct parts
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure best delivery outcomes
- Follow up quotations and support order completion through to payment and warranty
- Maintain accurate records and assist with pricing, documentation and procedures
- Support process improvement initiatives across the parts business
Skills & Experience
- GCSE level education (or equivalent)
- Computer literate (Word, Excel); SAP experience desirable
- Engineering knowledge advantageous
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
Personal Qualities
- Confident communicator with good telephone skills
- Persistent, customer-focused and enthusiastic
- Able to work under pressure in a busy office environment
