We are seeking an experienced Senior Respite Support Worker to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities and/or ADHD in a respite setting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support day-to-day care in line with best practice, promoting dignity, choice, safety, and independence
Implement outcome-based, person-centred support plans
Support safeguarding processes in line with South Yorkshire Safeguarding Adults procedures
Contribute to handovers, reviews, and team meetings
Provide guidance, supervision, and mentoring to staff
Support individuals with personal care, nutrition, emotional wellbeing, and social activities
About You
Experience in Health & Social Care, including learning disabilities/ADHD
Experience with care planning, service procedures, and quality standards
Experience across residential, day care, or similar services
Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification desirable (Level 4 advantageous)
Good written and verbal English
