A leading international law firm is looking to hire a Corporate Associate to join its Legal 500 London Corporate team. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level associate to get exposure to a range of high-value corporate matters.
The Role
The successful candidate will work on a wide range of corporate matters, including:
Domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions
Private equity and investment work
Venture Capital
Joint ventures and corporate governance
General corporate advisory work for a diverse client base
You will work closely with partners and senior associates while also being given responsibility and direct client exposure. The role offers a strong balance of high-quality work, career progression and a collegiate team culture.
The Candidate
3-6 years post-qualification experience in Corporate law
Strong experience across M&A and general corporate matters
Ideally experience working on private equity deals
Experience working in a reputable City, international or national firm
Experience drafting and negotiating SPAs, articles of association, shareholder agreements, due diligence, and all ancillary documents.
Commercially minded with excellent drafting and communication skills
Keen to take on responsibility and contribute to the growth of a busy practice
