Job Description

Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner Service Care Soltuions are recruiting for multiple ANPs/ACPs to support out client in the Kent area. Working within UTCs in Kent.

This is a flexible contract, picking up shifts which suit you!

Contract: Long-Term Locum 12 months ongoing
Location: Multiple UTCs in Kent
Hours: 4-10hr shifts covering days, evenings and nights
Days: Monday - Sunday

Pay (PAYE Options available):
Monday - Friday Days : 45 LTD p.h
Monday - Friday Nights : 48 LTD p.h
Weekend Days : 48 LTD p.h
Weekend Nights : 53 LTD p.h
Bank Holiday Days : 55 LTD p.h
Bank Holiday Nights : 60 LTD p.h

+ 250 Welcome Bonus after 150 hours worked!

Essential Requirements Suitable candidates must have the below in order to be considered:
  1. Experience supporting UTCs and other Primary Care Settings
  2. NHS Smartcard and experience in Primary Care Systems
  3. Right to work in the UK
  4. Ability to commute for F2F work

About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our multidisciplinary clinical team on a locum basis. You will work autonomously to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute and long-term conditions, delivering safe, effective, and patient-centred care.

This role offers the opportunity to work around your current diary or picking up full-time work, supporting urgent and primary care services while contributing to service development and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examination, diagnosis, and treatment planning, for all ages.
  • Independently manage patients with undifferentiated and complex presentations
  • Prescribe medications and request/interpret investigations in line with scope of practice
  • Provide health promotion, education, and self-management advice to patients
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including GPs, nurses, paramedics, and allied health professionals
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical records and adhere to clinical governance requirements
  • Contribute to audit, service improvement, and mentoring of junior staff where appropriate
