This is an exciting opportunity to join the firm as an Audit Senior based in Cardiff working within this leading firm in the professional services industry. This role requires expertise in accounting and finance, with a focus on auditing processes and client management.

Description

• Lead audit assignments from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members throughout audit processes.
• Engage with clients to build strong working relationships and address their audit needs effectively.
• Identify and communicate potential risks or areas for improvement to clients and management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting and auditing standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless client services.
• Ensure all audit documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time.

Profile

A successful Audit Senior should have:

• Professional qualification in accounting or auditing (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
• Experience in leading audit assignments and managing client relationships.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
