Elevation Recruitment are delighted to be working with a thriving manufacturing business based near Darlington, who are looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to support the team through an exciting period of change. This is a fantastic interim opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on and making an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small finance team across day-to-day accounting and reporting
• Own the month-end close, management accounts and balance sheet control
• Coordinate Business Unit SOX testing and Financial Audits.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide clear, commercial insight
• Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and reporting

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a Senior Finance Manager or similar role
• Confident managing and developing a small team
• Proven SOX compliance experience
• Clear communicator who can engage both finance and non-finance stakeholders
