You will be accountable to ensure the housing stock is repaired and maintained to a good standard for its tenants and meets regulatory requirements and decent home standards.

Description
- Lead and manage the property maintenance and repair operations effectively.
- Oversee the implementation of maintenance strategies and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently to meet organisational goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure high standards of safety and quality across all property-related activities.
- Provide strategic advice on property maintenance and repair initiatives.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements where necessary.
- Report on progress and outcomes to senior management and relevant authorities.
Profile
A successful Interim Head of R&M should have:
- Proven experience in property management within the public sector.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of property maintenance regulations and practices.
