Commercial Gas Engineer Up to £55,000 Company Van & Fuel Card 1-in-8 Call-Out Rota Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire

Overview

My client is a leading M&E HVAC company seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team. With a strong focus on delivering exceptional service, we are looking for a mission-driven professional who is passionate about their craft and committed to making a difference. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of premises, including schools, pubs, and high-end residential properties, in the areas of Kent, Essex, and Hertfordshire.

Day-to-Day
  • Travel to client sites (day-to-day travel minus 30 minutes each way).
  • Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of commercial gas systems.
  • Respond to call-outs as part of the rota (1 in 8 weeks).
  • Work on a variety of premises, including schools, pubs, and high-end residential properties.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance, servicing, and repair of commercial gas systems across a variety of premises.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently to ensure minimal disruption to clients.
  • Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Participate in a call-out rota (1 in 8 weeks) to provide emergency support when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Travel to client sites within Kent, Essex, and Hertfordshire adhering to company travel policies.
Qualifications
  • Valid commercial gas tickets (essential).
  • 5-10+ years of experience in the HVAC or commercial gas industry.
  • Proven track record of reliability and loyalty, with a preference for candidates who demonstrate long-term commitment to previous employers.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Full UK driving license.
