Senior Estates Manager

We're supporting a major public-sector organisation seeking an experienced Senior Estates Manager to lead the strategic management of a £500m+ operational property portfolio. This role drives efficient estate management, ensures legal and statutory compliance, and delivers strategic plans that support long-term organisational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the effective management of operational land and property, ensuring high service standards and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Champion the Corporate Landlord Model to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and align assets with organisational goals.
- Develop and present estate strategies and business cases, and oversee delivery of approved projects.
- Manage annual valuations and ensure all statutory and legal obligations are met.
- Provide strategic property advice to senior stakeholders and represent the organisation at internal/external meetings.
- Oversee performance monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement across the estate.
- Manage budgets, resources, risks, and contracted consultants.
- Ensure accurate data is maintained across asset management systems (AMS, CAD, GIS).
- Promote compliance with health & safety, statutory requirements, and energy-efficiency initiatives.
- Uphold organisational values, with a strong focus on equality, diversity and inclusion.
