Job Description
My client based on the outskirts of Leeds City Centre are looking for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative to join their team. This is a hands-on role working for a busy Manufacturer handling customer orders, deliveries, and stock management.
Location: Leeds
Salary: 25,500
Hours: Mon-Thurs 08:30-17:30 Fri 08:30-16:30
The role-
- Operate a counterbalance forklift safely to move goods around the warehouse
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders
- Load and unload deliveries
- Process incoming stock
- Perform stock checks
- Handle customer returns and ensure orders are ready for collection
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised warehouse environment
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures at all times
- Carry out quality checks and basic paperwork
The ideal candidate-
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence
- Ideally 2 years' experience working in a Warehouse environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
