We are seeking nationwide Damp & Mould Surveyors with a confident knowledge of Awaab's Law. You will play a key role in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving damp, mould, and condensation issues across residential properties, ensuring homes are safe, compliant, and healthy for occupants.
This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor with a strong technical background and a passion for improving housing standards and resident wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed inspections and surveys of residential properties to diagnose damp, mould, and condensation issues
Identify root causes including building defects, ventilation issues, thermal bridging, and lifestyle factors
Produce clear, accurate reports with photographic evidence and recommended remedial actions
Specify and scope works for contractors, ensuring solutions are effective and cost-efficient
Manage cases through to completion, including post-works inspections
Liaise with residents, contractors, and internal teams to provide technical guidance and updates
Ensure compliance with housing legislation, health & safety standards, and company policies
Support disrepair claims and complaints with technical assessments where required
