We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a high-impact, long-term agency assignment at a welcoming school in Blackpool. This role is perfect for a TA who enjoys building deep, meaningful connections with students through 1:1 support and small group interventions.
While this is an agency position, the school is looking for a consistent presence to provide stability for their pupils throughout the academic year and potentially beyond.
Focused 1:1 Support: Provide dedicated assistance to a specific student, helping them engage with the curriculum and manage classroom transitions.
Small Group Interventions: Lead targeted sessions in literacy, numeracy, or phonics to raise attainment levels.
Classroom Integration: Work as a seamless part of the school's staff team, assisting the Class Teacher with daily activities.
Behaviour Support: Use positive reinforcement and de-escalation techniques to support students with diverse learning needs.
Experience: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant is highly desirable.
Commitment: As this is a long-term post, we are looking for someone who can offer reliability and continuity to the school and its pupils.
Location: Must be able to commute easily to Blackpool (FY postcode area).
Safeguarding: A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is preferred, or a willingness to apply for a new one.
Stability: Enjoy the consistency of a long-term placement in a single school rather than day-to-day supply work.
Competitive Agency Pay: Weekly pay through our agency with dedicated consultant support.
Professional Growth: Gain valuable experience in a Blackpool school setting that could lead to further opportunities.
If you are a Blackpool-based Teaching Assistant looking for your next long-term challenge, please apply today.
