Job Title: Complex Needs Teaching Assistant (Secondary)

We are currently working with a secondary school in the Cheetham Hill area to recruit a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant for a full-time position via agency. This role is ideal for someone committed to making a positive difference for students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and communication or learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small-group support for students with complex needs
Support the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons alongside the class teacher
Assist with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and social development
Implement and contribute to individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies
Foster a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO, and support teams
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience supporting children or young people with complex needs (preferred)
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
Relevant SEND training or qualifications (desirable)
