Media Teacher

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Media Teacher to join our school on a fixed-term contract, starting at Easter and running until July. You will be responsible for teaching a range of Media courses from KS3 to KS5, inspiring students and helping them develop their understanding of the media industry and its impact on society.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Media Studies at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
• Develop and implement lesson plans and resources that cater to diverse student needs and abilities.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Foster a creative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
• Support students in developing both theoretical and practical skills in Media Studies, including critical thinking, analysis, and media production.
• Prepare students for external assessments, including GCSE and A-Level exams.
• Participate in school-wide activities and contribute to the wider school community.

About You:

• A qualified teacher with a degree in Media Studies or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of the Media Studies curriculum at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
• Enthusiastic and creative, with the ability to inspire and engage students.
• Possess a PGCE and/or QTS
