As a Level 5 Nursery Assistant, you will play a key role in planning and delivering engaging, child-centred activities in line with the EYFS framework. You will support children's learning, development, and well-being while working collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive nursery environment.
Support the delivery of high-quality EYFS provision and learning activities.
Plan and lead age-appropriate, play-based learning experiences.
Observe, assess, and contribute to children's learning and development records.
Promote children's social, emotional, physical, and communication skills.
Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
Support less experienced staff and contribute to best practice within the setting.
Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety policies are followed at all times.
Level 5 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
Diploma in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
A caring, confident, and proactive approach.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
