Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality drama lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales
Teach drama techniques including performance, improvisation, scripted work, and theatre studies
Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback
Prepare pupils for examinations and performances where applicable
Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
Contribute to school productions, performances, and extracurricular activities
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Expressive Arts department
Communicate effectively with parents/carers and staff as required
Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Degree or strong subject knowledge in Drama / Performing Arts
Experience teaching drama at secondary level (KS3 and/or KS4)
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to motivate and engage pupils of varying abilities
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
