Business Operations Coordinator - Investment Banking Team London, The CityOngoing TempRate: £20 - £25 per hourWe're looking for a proactive and switched-on Business Operations Coordinator to join a fast-growing investment banking team in a global investment bank. This is a newly created role to support the M&A Business Manager to provide analytical support with a fantastic opportunity for someone to really build and grow the role. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-performing environment, gain exposure to senior stakeholders, and contribute directly to the team's strategic initiatives.What You'll Do
  1. Maintain and track the team's deal pipeline and priority databases across M&A
  2. Update internal coverage lists, presentations, and league table monitoring
  3. Prepare periodic and ad hoc business performance reports to support strategic objectives
  4. Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take notes/action points for senior management
  5. Provide analytical and operational support to help the team execute strategic priorities efficiently
Who You Are
  1. Previous experience in investment banking - desired
  2. An analytical skill set and approach
  3. Strong Excel skills and comfortable working with large datasets
  4. Self-starter with initiative, able to hit the ground running
  5. Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  6. Confident supporting senior stakeholders and collaborating across teams
  7. Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
