Job Description

Role: Administrative Support - Swindon SEND School Working Pattern:3 days per week (Monday-Wednesday), 8:30am-3:30pmContract Type:Up to 12 months (Maternity Cover), Term-Time OnlyStart Date:ASAP

Overview:A friendly school in Swindon are seeking an organised and proactive administrator to support the Annual Review Manager. This role plays a key part in coordinating and managing administrative processes related to children's annual reviews, ensuring communication is timely, accurate, and professional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Annual Review Manager in preparing and coordinating annual review documentation for pupils.
  • Communicate with the local borough, parents, and external professionals via email and telephone.
  • Utilise Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) to produce letters, reports, and general correspondence.
  • Provide reception cover when required, greeting visitors and speaking with parents.
  • Carry out general administrative duties, including typing, filing, data entry, and managing records.
  • Ensure all work is handled sensitively and confidentially, in line with safeguarding and GDPR requirements.

Requirements:

  • Strong administrative background and confident use of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a busy SEND school environment with professionalism and empathy.
  • Highly organised, with good attention to detail.
  • Able to start as soon as possible.
