Job Title: Temporary Chef Jewish Care Home
Location: Golders Green
Pay Rate: £17 £19 per hour
Job Type: Temporary / Flexible shifts
Enhanced DBS required
We are currently recruiting experienced Chefs for flexible, temporary work within a Jewish Care Home. This role is ideal for chefs who have knowledge and experience of kosher food preparation and are looking for short-term or ad-hoc shifts in a care setting.
Key Responsibilities-
Prepare and cook fresh, nutritious meals in accordance with kosher dietary laws

Ensure strict separation of meat and dairy and adherence to kosher kitchen procedures

Cater for special dietary requirements, including allergens and texture-modified diets

Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety

Work closely with care and kitchen teams to support residents wellbeing

Ensure meals are delivered on time and to a consistently high standard

Proven experience as a Chef or Cook

Good understanding of kosher food preparation (essential)

Experience in care homes, hospitals, or similar environments preferred

Food Hygiene Level 2 or above

Enhanced DBS (required or willingness to obtain)

Flexible availability for temporary shifts, including weekends
