The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher with the ability to confidently take full class responsibility, including planning, assessment and delivering high-quality teaching and learning.

You will join a supportive, collaborative team dedicated to providing an engaging curriculum that challenges all learners and promotes positive attitudes to learning, in line with the school's strong values and Ofsted-noted strengths.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1
  • Strong knowledge and experience delivering Read Write Inc (RWI)
  • Ability to plan, deliver and assess engaging, high-quality lessons
  • Commitment to maintaining an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment
  • Strong behaviour management aligned with the school's positive ethos (rated 'Good' for behaviour and attitudes)
