Trainee Insurance Advisor

- Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 + Uncapped Commission OTE £32,000 - £64,000

Training
Initially, you will join their in-house Academy, where you will work towards achieving an internal training certificate.
The Academy typically lasts six months, subject to performance and KPI achievement and is a mandatory part of the role and forms the foundation of your development.
Key Responsibilities of a Trainee Insurance Advisor:
- Speaking to customers who have expressed interest in products
- Passing customers to Mortgage and Life Insurance Advisors
- Engaging with an existing customer database
- Responding to enquiries and identifying customer needs
- Acting in accordance with regulatory procedures
- Building strong customer rapport
- Engaging with customers in a friendly, compliant, and professional manner
Key Skills and Experience of a Trainee Insurance Advisor:
- Previous experience in sales (particularly outbound calling)
- Ability to handle and overcome objections
- Motivation to work towards KPIs and targets
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literacy
