Reed Education are looking for a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to support a specialist school in Hinckley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in care, support work, or working with children, who is passionate about helping young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs
- Assist with behaviour regulation and emotional support
- Work closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging learning activities
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
- Promote a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in care, support work, or working with children
- Patience, empathy and strong communication skills
- Confidence in managing challenging behaviour
- Reliability and a proactive attitude
- Ability to commit to a full-time role
