Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a heavy manufacturer to recruit an Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias) to join their established team in Kirton, Newark.

Salary- £53,750

Shifts- 4 on 4 off days and nightsBenefits:

• 29 days holiday including Bank holidays
• Up to 10% company pension
• Overtime available

Duties of the Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) will include:

• Carry out work orders by the Planned Preventative Maintenance system
• Undertake diagnostic checks in machinery breakdown
• Complete timely and appropriate remedial work to return the plant to service.
• Identify any spare part requirements
• Diagnosing breakdown problems
• Install and commission to recognised standards any new or relocated equipment within the site.

We are keen to speak with Maintenance Engineers (Electrical bias) who possess the following:

• Electrically qualified with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
• Ideally apprentice trained
• Have experience within a manufacturing maintenance environment- ideally heavy industry
• Experience with PPM's and breakdowns
• A sound working knowledge with contactors, relays, motors, starters
• Ideally have experience with inverters and PLC's but training will be given
