Description
Acting as a central figure within the product function, you will own a defined hardware product portfolio and work closely with senior leaders to deliver the overall product vision. You'll be responsible for driving end-to-end life cycle management-from opportunity assessment and business case development through to launch, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
The role requires confidence working with multi-disciplinary teams including Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and Marketing, as well as engaging with external partners and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop the strategy for a portfolio of hardware-based products, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs.
- Conduct ongoing market and customer research to identify new opportunities and emerging trends.
- Build robust business cases to support new product concepts and initiatives.
- Manage and maintain product information and documentation, including CRM listings and user-facing materials.
- Support the creation and execution of product roadmaps, ensuring project milestones are achieved.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure products are delivered to specification and within agreed timelines.
- Monitor commercial performance, customer feedback, and RMA data to inform ongoing product improvements.
- Provide internal and external product training where required.
- Stay informed on new technologies relevant to connected hardware and smart devices.
Profile
Essential
- Willingness to work 3 days per week in the Milton Keynes HQ, with 2 days WFH.
- Minimum 5 years' Product Management experience, ideally within smart devices, IoT, mobility, or hardware-driven product environments.
- Proven track record managing hardware products throughout the full life cycle.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate complex information for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Commercially minded, innovative, and driven by customer and market needs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Product management certification or a relevant degree.
- Experience introducing new hardware products into fast-paced, evolving markets.
