Labourer

Our client is seeking an experienced Labourer to assist on an exciting new project in the centre of Alton. This is an excellent opportunity for a fill in job for 4 x weeks, could be longer. Must be reliable, hardworking individual to join a dynamic team, must be able to drive, or live in the town centre of Alton, must be physically fit and strong, experience on sites, within the construction sector assisting all trades, must provide references, this is a high end refurbishment.

Key Requirements:

• Must be physically fit and strong
• Experience with tools is beneficial but not essential
• Must hold a valid CSCS card
• Must hold a full UK driving license
• Able to provide 2 sources of references
• Must reside within a reasonable travel distance of Alton
• Must be reliable, punctual, and hardworking

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting skilled tradespeople on-site
• Loading and unloading materials
• Site preparation and clean-up
• Transporting tools and materials around site
• Following health and safety regulations at all times
• Handling manual labour tasks such as lifting, digging, or moving equipment
• Assisting with setting up and dismantling site structures
• Supporting project workflow to ensure deadlines are met

Desirable Skills & Attributes:

• Previous labouring experience on construction or development projects
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Live in the Alton area
