Solicitor - Personal & Family Immigration
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, HybridSalary: £35k - £45k
About the Role
A leading specialist immigration law practice is seeking a Solicitor (2-5 years PQE) to join its Personal & Family Immigration team. You will manage a varied caseload, work closely with senior leadership, and contribute to team development. Administrative and operational support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients and develop case strategies
- Manage entry clearance, leave to remain, citizenship, EU/EUSS, and PBS matters
- Undertake tribunal and higher court work
- Onboard clients, agree fees, and maintain accurate records
- Progress cases within deadlines and manage file finances
- Supervise junior staff
- Contribute to business development initiatives
Required Experience
- Strong background in Personal & Family Immigration
- Experience with entry clearance/LTR, citizenship, EU/EUSS and PBS applications
- Tribunal and higher court experience
- Ability to manage a busy caseload with accuracy and efficiency
Desirable
- Level 2 IAAS (Senior Caseworker) accreditation or willingness to obtain
- Experience working under a Legal Aid Agency contract
