Temporary Legal Secretary (Dispute Resolution)

We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to provide immediate temporary support to the Head of Department within our busy Dispute Resolution team. This role is ideal for a confident, highly organised individual with proven experience in a fast-paced legal environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Perform digital dictation tasks including accurate transcription and document production.
- Prepare various legal documents such as court documents, correspondence, legal forms, and case-related documentation.
- Support litigation tasks including preparing bundles for court, preparing briefs to barristers, and managing case files to ensure they are court-ready.
- Liaise with clients, counsel, courts, and internal team members to ensure smooth operation.
- Provide general administrative support including diary management, filing, and scanning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous Legal Secretary experience essential-ideally within litigation or dispute resolution.
- Strong working knowledge of legal terminology and court processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a busy department.
- Proficient with MS Office and digital dictation systems.
- Ability to work full-time from the Wokingham office (Reading or Farnham considered).
