Rust Engineer

Rust Engineer | Remote (Europe) | £70-95k + Token Incentives | Backend Systems

We're working with a Web3 infrastructure team building high performance blockchain systems and distributed infrastructure. As the ecosystem continues to scale, they are looking to bring in a Rust Engineer to help develop the Back End systems and blockchain infrastructure powering their platform.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Back End systems and infrastructure in Rust
• Contribute to blockchain node infrastructure and protocol-level services
• Build scalable services that support high-throughput blockchain networks
• Work on distributed systems challenges including networking, concurrency, and reliability
• Improve performance, scalability, and resilience across infrastructure components
• Design and implement APIs and services used by Web3 applications and internal systems
• Collaborate with protocol, smart contract, and infrastructure teams on system architecture

Key Skills:

• Strong programming experience in Rust
• Experience building Back End infrastructure or distributed systems
• Understanding of concurrency, asynchronous systems, and performance optimisation
• Familiarity with networking protocols and scalable Back End architecture
• Interest in or experience working with blockchain or Web3 systems
• Familiarity with Solana ecosystem is a bonus
