We are currently working with a well-established nursery in Northampton that is looking to recruit Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to join their team.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting children s development and maintaining a high-quality learning environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Promoting high standards of care, learning, and development within the nursery
  • Taking on Key Person responsibilities for a group of children
  • Creating engaging and stimulating learning experiences appropriate to each child s age and stage of development
  • Supporting and preparing daily learning activities and play opportunities
  • Helping maintain the smooth day-to-day running of the room, including in the absence of the Room Leader
  • Ensuring nursery practice aligns with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Supporting and mentoring students and junior team members where required

Requirements

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
  • A genuine passion for working with young children
  • Good knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding practices
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
