Job Description
I'm currently partnering with a successful, fast growing fresh produce business to recruit a Health & Safety Manager to lead safety strategy across their multi site operation.
This is a senior, business critical role reporting directly to the Executive Team. It is a fantastic opportunity to shape, influence and elevate Health & Safety standards across a complex, fast paced agricultural and food production environment.
The Role
You will work cross functionally with Production, Harvest, Technical and Logistics teams to ensure Health & Safety is fully aligned with operational and food safety standards, including BRCGS requirements.
With direct access to senior leadership, you will influence strategic decisions, advise on statutory responsibilities and play a key role in protecting both people and business continuity.
The Responsibilites
Lead Health & Safety strategy and compliance across multiple sites
Manage risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work
Oversee incident investigation and corrective actions
Conduct audits and drive continuous improvement
Support training and workforce safety initiatives
Advise senior leadership on statutory obligations
What I am looking for
NEBOSH General Certificate
Health & Safety experience in food production, agriculture or manufacturing
Knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation
Experience in high risk operational environments
