This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically minded assembly technician to join a well renowned and growing company based on the outskirts of Bristol. You will work on a wide variety of projects, helping assembly complex systems for multiple applications and sectors. You will be an experienced Solderer and Welder and enjoy working on intricate projects.

The Role:

  • Building systems and sub-assemblies for complex systems.
  • Ensuring that the requirements of the BOM and the customer specification are achieved.
  • Identify and resolve build problems.
  • Reporting technical issues.
  • Wiring and Soldering.
  • Support and promote 5S initiatives.
  • Cooperate with Continous Improvement principles.

What we are looking for:

  • Time served Electrical apprenticeship OR City and Guilds part 3, or HND, HNC, or BTech level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in an electrical fitting/assembly position.
  • Lead-free soldering.
  • Panel wiring to schematics.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings.
  • Ability to fault find and implement corrective action.
