Service Advisor - Carlisle
Truck & Van Dealership

Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 dependent on experience
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

The Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Service Advisor to join a busy truck and van dealership in Carlisle. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a great team as part of a growing business group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acting as the central point of contact for customers within the busy service department
  
  
• Providing relevant, accurate and timely information throughout the service process
  
  
• Maximising service and parts profitability through professional upselling of identified defects
  
  
• Loading the workshop schedule to maximise capacity and utilisation
  
  
• Dealing with customer needs over the phone and face-to-face with a professional and friendly approach
  
  
• Carrying out daily update calls to customers on vehicle progress
  
  
• Gaining authorisation for work required
  
  
• Building rapport with all staff and customers
  
  

The Candidate:

• Previous experience within a service advisor role, ideally within the truck or van sector
  
  
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
  
  
• Strong organisational and administration abilities
  
  
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  
  
• Team player who can also work on own initiative
  
  

The Benefits:

• Competitive salary 30,000 - 35,000 DOE
