Locum Adult Social Lawyer - 6 months + - Full Time - Predominantly Remote Working - Up to £55 per hour - East Anglia
Position: Locum Adult Social Care LawyerOrganisation: East Anglia based Local AuthorityDuration: 6 months with the possibility of extension thereafterWorking Pattern: Full TimeWorking Arrangement: Predominantly remote, Court/Office attendance when requiredHourly Rate: Up to £55 per hour Umbrella The ideal candidate will have at experience in handling Adult Social Care matters and can demonstrate prior experience working on behalf of Local Authorities. Duties may include:
- Undertake all aspects of legal work relating to Adult Social Care Legislation, including, but not limited to, Court of Protection, Section 21a, and Section 16, the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Mental Health Act 1983
- Liaise and work collaboratively with other legal representatives
- To prepare and manage a varied caseload in relation to all aspects of Adult Social Care matters
- Represent the Council in court and may need to conduct advocacy when required (online hearings)
