You will lead a team of Implementation Engineers while owning the Pre-Sales function,working directly with prospective and existing clients to demonstrate value and bring them successfully onto the platform. This is not a pure management role. You will have personally managed complex API or fintech implementations, and you'll bring that hands-on experience into both the team you lead and the strategic accounts you'll directly own. You know what good looks like at every stage, from the first technical conversation with a prospect through to go-live. Internally, you'll be a key connector between Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support. You set the standard for how implementations are deliveredand you work to raise that standard continuously. Key responsibilities Team leadership Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Implementation Engineers,setting clear expectations and supporting their growth Build a high-performing team culture focused on delivery quality, client outcomes, and continuous improvement Manage workload distribution, ensuring the right resource is applied to the right accounts Define and iterate on implementation processes, tooling, and documentation to improve consistency and efficiency Client implementations Take a direct, hands-on role in the implementation of large or strategically important accounts Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for complex implementations, from scoping and onboarding through to go-live and handover Ensure implementations are delivered on time, to scope, and to a high standard of technical quality Identify risks early and manage them proactively, keeping clients and internal stakeholders informed throughout Pre-sales Own the Pre-Sales function and its strategy, working closely with the Sales team on how implementation capability is positioned Lead or support technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution design conversations with prospective clients Own RFP and RFI responses, coordinating input from Product, Engineering, and Commercial Act as the technical authority during the sales process, building credibility with both technical and commercial stakeholders on the client side Internal collaboration Work closely with Product and Engineering to influence the implementation experience and feed delivery insight into the roadmap Partner with Customer Success and Support on client handovers, ensuring a smooth transition from implementation to BAU Collaborate with Sales on pipeline, account planning, and deal strategy for complex or enterprise opportunities What you'll bring Proven experience leading an implementation or solutions engineering team in a SaaS or fintech environment A track record of personally managing complex, API-based implementations.
