Job Description
My client is a UK-wide, privately-owned multi-disciplinary engineering and facilities services group. They deliver a wide range of services including mechanical & electrical (M&E) works, facilities management (FM), steel fabrication, security/fire/data systems, renewables (EV chargers/PV), fit-out, IT support and building maintenance for sectors like logistics, retail, manufacturing, transport and commercial facilities.
They are seeking Junior Electrical Design Engineer with at least 2 years industry experience
You will be part of the M&E or Design team responsible for electrical system design and support within building/industrial projects.
Responsibilities would typically include:
Assisting in electrical systems design (power distribution, lighting, fire/security systems).
Preparing technical drawings, calculations and specifications using CAD/BIM tools.
Coordinating with project teams (M&E, structural, FM) on installations.
Supporting senior engineers across project phases from concept to delivery.
