Powder Coater

Careermakers Recruitment are looking for a Skilled Powder Coaters for our ever-growing client based in the heart of Normanton, WF6.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare products for powder coating, including surface preparation and final checks.
• Apply powder coatings using spray equipment to achieve consistent, high-quality finishes.
• Set up, operate, and maintain powder coating equipment.
• Load and unload parts safely onto coating lines or racks.
• Inspect coated products to ensure they meet company quality standards.
• Monitor coating thickness, coverage, and finish quality.
• Support production schedules and work efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe paint shop environment.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow within the department.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a powder coater or in a similar paint shop environment.

• Strong practical skills and a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to achieve consistent, high-quality finishes.

• Knowledge of powder coating equipment and processes.

• Flexible, reliable, and willing to work overtime when required.

• Positive, can-do attitude and ability to work as part of a team.

• Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.

Working hours will be Monday - Friday 7am - 3.30pm, with a pay rate of 14.50 - 15.50 per hour depending on experience.
