Tradewind are recruiting for an Art Teacher !
Are you looking for your next role teaching Art Teacher for an inclusive school in St Albans? Available from asap on a full or part time basis we are keen to hear from Hertfordshire's best Art teachers able to start asap on an ongoing basis?
Tradewind Secondary are looking to speak to teachers of art for a long term sick (operation) and period of phased return. This is one of our urgent posts and work with a huge amount of schools on both part time, full time and cover basis! Please reach out to discuss your preferences. This role and others are suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
For our St Albans post we are looking for someone able to teach Art across Key Stages 3, 4 and on a 0.4 basis for Monday & Tuesdays each week. Delivering dynamic and inspiring lessons we are looking for teachers who can inspire creativity, experimentation, and self-expression. The successful candidate will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to the wider creative life of the school.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or experience teaching Art in the UK to Pupils in Key stages 3-5
- Experience teaching Art at KS3, KS4 and KS5 (applications welcomed from ECTs)
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the creative arts
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A commitment to nurturing creativity and supporting student achievement
