A welcoming and supportive primary school in Rochdale is seeking a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team and contribute to an inspiring learning environment.

Role Overview

• Location: Rochdale (OL11 5DR) - excellent public transport links

• School: Primary (ages 4-11)

• Hours: Full-time, term-time only Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm

• Salary: £500-£560 per week (depending on experience)

• Contract: Start dates available Easter and September

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils 1:1 and in small intervention groups

  • Assist children in overcoming academic or social challenges

  • Support class teachers with lesson delivery

  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

About You

• Minimum 2:1 degree (Education, Psychology, English, Maths or other core subjects desirable)

• Passionate about a career in education or educational psychology

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Patient, nurturing, and adaptable

• Previous experience with children (school, tutoring, coaching, volunteering) is a plus but not essential
