Benjamin Edwards are recruiting for a proactive and commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join an exciting and growing business in Gainsborough. This is a key role where you will provide valuable financial insight, help shape business decisions and improve operational performance across multiple companies. As Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with both finance and operational teams, offering challenge, support, and clarity to drive profitability, efficiency, and growth. The role of the Finance Business Partner

• Producing timely and insightful monthly management accounts across several Group companies
• Delivering KPIs, variance analysis, and clear financial commentary
• Supporting and challenging decision-making across operational teams
• Analysing performance, particularly around production downtime and efficiency
• Leading budgeting and forecasting processes
• Conducting investment appraisals and make/buy analysis
• Presenting financial results and driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Supporting EBITDA, cash flow, and project performance improvements
• Assisting with CapEx planning and evaluation
• Maintaining strong financial controls and compliance with accounting standards
• Contributing to system and process improvements across the finance function
• Supporting the year-end audit process
• Collaborating with operations to ensure accurate reporting

The ideal candidate for the role of Finance Business Partner

• CIMA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with proven experience in a similar role
• Advanced Excel skills and strong IT proficiency
• Flexible approach to work, including occasional travel to Group sites
