Support students with a range of SEN, including physical, learning, emotional, and behavioural needs.
Assist with the delivery of tailored learning plans and activities.
Help create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Encourage social interaction and independence amongst students.
Provide one-on-one and small group support in the classroom.
Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators), and other staff members to monitor student progress.
Support students with their emotional and personal development.
Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience is desirable but not essential).
A genuine passion for working with children with diverse learning needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
An understanding of safeguarding practices and procedures.
A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Special Educational Needs (or similar) is preferred.
First Aid training is a bonus.
Experience working with children in an educational setting.
